  1. Installing CMS-GOLD Version 2.0                    Mills & Associates, Inc.

  4. Requirements:

  6. IBM Compatible Computer, 640k Memory (with a minimum of 540k free), Hard
  7. Disk, DOS 3.0 or higher
  8.  
  9. To use this program you must have a FILES= and BUFFERS= statement in your
  10. CONFIG.SYS statement.  The FILES statement must be at least 65.
  11.  
  12.                        FILES=65
  13.  
  14. The program will automatically set this for you if it is not correct.
  15. It will rename your old CONFIG.SYS to CONFIG.BAK and create a new
  16. one with FILES=65 and BUFFERS=35.
  17.  
  18. INSTALLATION (from diskettes) ..........
  19.  
  20. If you are installing this program from diskettes then simply run the
  21. program INSTALL on disk #1 and answer all prompts.  The INSTALL program
  22. will create a directory on your hard disk named \CMSG20 and copy all
  23. files to this directory.

  25. INSTALLATION (from BBS Download) ..........
  26.  
  27. If you are installing this program from a BBS download then you must
  28. do the following....
  29.  
  30. The program must be installed in a directory named \CMSG20.  This is
  31. were the program will look for its files.  It can be on any hard
  32. disk drive.
  33.  
  34. UNZIP the file CMSGOLD.ZIP.  You will get the following files.
  35.  
  36.    CMS.EXE, CMS.OVR, SCREENS.LIB, REPORTS.CMS, *.HLP, *.RPT

  39. DOCUMENTATION........
  40.  
  41. When printing the documentation you will be asked to TAG the chapters
  42. you wish to print.  Simply place the light bar on the chapters you
  43. want and press the space bar.  After you have tagged all the chapters
  44. you want press <Enter>.
